18X10.5 Y2K vette wheels with 335's?
i'm wanting to run a y2k vette wheel in the back...i found some that are 18X10.5 replicas...i could widen them to whatever need be i guess....so i'm wondering if it can be done...how hard would it be...what size spacing would i need to run...if it won't work without a huge spacer i guess i'll pass...i don't want it to break on me...i'll have ~425rwhp...and possibly later a lot more if i throw a supercharger on it...i just want to know if it will hold up...i really like the y2k style and i can get these rims for about 1200$ for all four...plus widening...if there are other rims that i could get for the same and look similar or better let me know...just wanting something wide, nice, and fairly inexpensive to replace my stock 16" wheels

if youre set on 18's i would say just get 305s
you would be doing a SHITLOAD of work to get a 12-13''x18'' wheel to fit on your car
not even close to being worth it IMO...if youre worried about hooking, do as has already been said and get a decent sized drag radial

Yup, what ^^he said. An offset that high will tuck your wheel in so much, you'll need to hammer the fenderwall in or get a spacer.
For reference: My 17x11 36mm offset wheels (sticks out a lot farther than 10.5 56mm's) req'd. the BFH mod.

yes...i'm completly confused on the wheels i want...i know i like the c5 y2k's but there just seems to be too much problems with them...i.e. bad offsets...you pretty much have to use spacers to make them look right...i don't wanna spend a lot on wheels but i want some that look nice too...i may end up widening the stock ws6 wheels...who knows
