Default Which tire should I go with???

Ok i have ARE rebel's on my car right now in a 17x9. Im going to get some 18x10's for the rear and mount drag radials on them. The only drag radials i can find right now are nittos and bfgs. The nittos are only available in a 285/35/18 and a 305/35/18. the 285's measure 25.9 in diameter and the 305's measure 26.4. i have nittos on my car right now in a 275/40 and they measure 25.6. well bfg also has a 315/30/18 that measures in 25.6. now ireally want to go with the nittos since i have ran them before and loved them. should i get the 305's even though they are about 3/4 in taller or should i just get a shorter one??? now price is not a problem, i can get either of the 3 for around 250 each. would it be noticable with the taller sizes??? any info would be appreciated. thanks

its a 315/30/18 BFG drag radial. and yes it measures 25.6 inch tall. i put some on a cobra and when compared to a 275/40 they were almost the same height. i want to go the widest i can possibly go on that 18x10. one other thing, when i got the 17x9 they are advertised as 17x9 but when i measured them from edge to edge they came out to be a little over 10" wide. now i know that when they measure the 9" they go by the inside of the lip and i was measuring by the outside, but still they are wider than a 9 so i bet the 10 would measure an 11 or more.

when you said 25.6 i thought you meant wiiiiiddddddde my mistake sorry

i still would do a 285 or 295/35/18 thats me tho they are sure as hell wide enough...you dont want them too wide that it sticks out way over the rims...just my .02 however...if you want BIGGEST get 315/30...otherwise go 2nd biggest 295-305/35?30? or got the smallest i would go on a 10 285/35

I vote for 315/30's. Gotta have meat back there. As far as the diameter difference, it's less than an inch dude, fuggetaboutit.
