Default C5 sizing availability

Does anybody know if there are any companies out there that make a Y2K C5 wheel in and 18x9 or 18x8 setup for a 99 T/A? I can find 18x9.5 and up but didn't want to modify the wheel well due to tire rubbing. Are there any suggestions on what I can due besides dropping down to a 17 inch rim. I wanted a large open wheel to show off the rotor behind it.

Thank you for your help.

I have been looking and seem only to find the 18x9.5 from lgmotorsports, oe creations, ebay, cruisinchrome, and vette wheels. Are there any other manufactorers out there that I am forgetting?

You should be able to run a 18x9.5 w/o problems? Are you lowered quite a bit or something? If so you could run a shorter or narrower tire on that rim. There are a few people (road racers) running 17x11 with 315 35 17 all the way around.

It's all about to offsets. An 18" x 9.5" wheel fits great, you just need to shop for the right offset. Anything betwen 54mm and 38mm works without mods.

I just purchased the T/A about two months ago and it is bone stock. I have been asking around and it seems that there are going to be rub issues with that size wheel going up from the stock 16x8. I really don't want to have to roll the wheel wells out of it or have problems with the wheels scraping on something in the wheel well. When I contact the places that manufactor these rims they all seem to give the same answer. The 18x9.5 will rub so go with the 17x9's.

Check out www.wheelreplicas.com They might have the sizes and offsets you need.

Good Luck
