What size tire do i need

Im about to get some vette rims from a freind. THey are the alm. 5 spoke ones. I think they came on the 97 vettes. what size tire do i need to put on them.

stock size for those rims is 245/45/17 front, and 275/40/18 rear. I would put 285's on the back though. need all the traction you can get!
