Default Question on wheels

I don't really understand what can go wrong if you get to big of wheels. I'm thinking of picking up some TT2's, with probably a 9.5 in the front and 11 in the back. I dont' need an explanation of what offset is but what can go wrong with putting bigger wheels on. It makes sense to me on the front of the car obviuosly, bigger tires means you might hit the wheel well while turning, but what about the back tires? What things do you need to pay attention to when getting different sized wheels.

Oversized rear tires can contact the inner wheel well, the outer wheel well lip. Some have issues with the bumps stop . . .
