Default 10 spoke problem for a 95

I'm having trouble getting GM 10 spoke wheels to fit my 95 camaro in the rear. The problem appears to be the center hole of the rim not being big enough to clear the hub or whatever it is on the axle. There is a slight lip that goes around the center hole of the rim, its not much but it's enough to keep the wheel from fitting. Anyone else have this same problem? I dont know what to do, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You just have to grind away at the lip inside the wheel until it fits over the hub...shouldn't take more than 10 minutes to do both with some sort of power or air tool.

I have done it before, it is safe, it won't hurt the wheel or car. I did it for a friend on his '94 Z28. I had to grind both front and rear wheels in the center where it sits on the hub/spindle. Be very careful not to grind too much or they will have to much play if put back on a newer model again. If you don't want to grind on the wheels you will need to find axles from a 98+ fbody(I think '97 will work to, but not positive).
