rear passengers?

rear passengers? anyone ever run rear passengers with a lowered car with 11" rears? i would probably try to avoid this when i do get the wheels, but it will probably be inevitable eventually. the amp and sub box probably add a whole bunch of weight too. any suggestions?

Yep! I never carry passengers in the rear but spend a week on the Power Tour with 2 250lb guys, 1 weeks luggage for 2, cooler, and stereo gear and they can come in very handy!!

lol... this wouldnt be a problem if my damn friends and i would hit the gym and lose some weight. even the mighty ls1 gets upset when we pack in the car.
just a side note... my old car was a 92 camry and one day i packed the car with so much weight that when the springs depressed the central pipe actually hit the ground and ripped off the exhaust from the cats back. but that was with original springs on a 150k+ mile car. RIP Stumpy... 07/92-02/03

i have light ppl in my back seats regulary and don't have a problem, but im sure i will when i get my sterio installed in the rear. I have noticed that my bumpstops have polished the axle where they hit, but i don't feel it.

1. Nope...... not at all.
2. No electric pump required........... The $9 compact bicycle pump I use works our great as only a couple psi will make a HUGE difference in the spring rate. Too much air psi and it will ride harsh.
BTW I routed the air fitting inside the gas fill door so it is easy to inflate and deflate as needed w/o getting dirty. But 99% of the time I run 0 air pressure as I only need a boost if I am on a long trip with extra luggage.

thanks again for the replies. sounds like a plan to me. im surprised i havent heard anything about others doing the same mod. im sure those guys with big sub boxes in their trunks would do the same. now i just cant wait for summer to come along so i can start workin on the car.
