I never carry passengers in the rear but spend a week on the Power Tour with 2 250lb guys, 1 weeks luggage for 2, cooler, and stereo gear and they can come in very handy!!AirLift link...............

just a side note... my old car was a 92 camry and one day i packed the car with so much weight that when the springs depressed the central pipe actually hit the ground and ripped off the exhaust from the cats back. but that was with original springs on a 150k+ mile car. RIP Stumpy... 07/92-02/03
1. does it affect regular driving when it is deflated?
2. do you need an electric pump to fill it up or will a hand pump do?
and thanks again for the replys.

1. Nope...... not at all.
2. No electric pump required........... The $9 compact bicycle pump I use works our great as only a couple psi will make a HUGE difference in the spring rate. Too much air psi and it will ride harsh.
BTW I routed the air fitting inside the gas fill door so it is easy to inflate and deflate as needed w/o getting dirty. But 99% of the time I run 0 air pressure as I only need a boost if I am on a long trip with extra luggage.
