I had M/T's last summer that lasted about 1 1/2 months on the street including about 50 passes. Do not go over 40 mph in the rain (very scary). Thinking about buying two sets of tires this summer... M/T for dragstrip and Nittos for everyday. Is this a good idea?

I have been driving around on Nittos for the last few years. They do very well on the street and track. Plus if you drive in the rain they do pretty good there too.
