nitto drag radials

Default nitto drag radials

i have 18in eagle alloys and they are 8in wide.....the guy at barre tire said that i would able to fit the nitto 285-35-18 on my 8in rim (drag radial)??????does that sound right? i did not think i could go that wide but he sound confident?????any one know?

It might fit but that isn't the correct tire size for that rim. Just cause it fits doesn't make it right. 315's fit on a 9.5 but they are not made for a 9.5!

I was told that the Nitto drag radial doesn't come in a 285. If you want the drag radial near that size you have to get either a 275 or a 315. I really wanted a 285 so I had to settle with the Nitto 555 "Extreme". That's just what I heard from the dude at Discount Tire, is he wrong?

Everytime i hear someone talk about nittos it isnt good. They all say the tires are crap.

they only make a 275 for a 17in rim.....i have an 18in rim so the only thing they have is a 245 and 285????????
