Default rim ideas

I have the 17*9 polished aluminum wheels. I am getting some curb rash fixed and getting them repolished. When I get them back Im going to clean the inside and get rid of the black stains from road grime and brake dust. Once this is done can I have them shot with a new coat of clear or not. Also what to you guys think it would look like if I painted the inside of my wheels to match my car it's sunset orange. Im thinking of painting them and the calipers. Or I might paint the calipers orange and the inside of the rims black. Give some advice on what you think would work the best.

In my experience, the inside of the rims get all caked with brake dust no matter what you do. Painting it, especially a bright color like orange, will just attract attention to the dust.

Unless, it's a garage queen/show car, then go for it.

Just put some miles on them. The insides of the rim will turn black naturally

clean them up and clear them. i would also polish your calipers and put a high temp clear on them too, thats what i did with mine and that really looks the best behind the 02 wheels. and nice car. gotta love sunset orange

I did my calipers in SOM Paint with high temp clearcoat. They turned out very nicely. I just need to do the backs and then it will be ****.
