when i saw the gtp concept, the rims had the pontiac logo in the center. It wasn't a cap, it was an actual part of the rim, fine detail and all. I'm not too sure it would be legal for pontiac to put their label on someone else's rim. Granted they may not be massed produced(part of my original question), but I'm sure pontiac did make the rims I saw.
All the 04ish+ Jetta GLI's have VW in the middle like that, but they aren't VW wheels they are BBS's.
A car company can by the design from a wheel company and just be like "Hey we wanna put these on our cars, but with out centercaps". I'm sure the wheels company is like "Well just give a certain amount up front or per car, etc"
