Angry Got my weld draglites

well i got my 15 x 10 drag lites thursday from Jeg's. I was pretty pumped up, went to open the boxes and one of them had a nick on the edge of the rim. Not good, the other one was good and got my tire put on it. Well Jegs sent me a new rim today and I went get my other tire put on it. It did not balance it show 5.50 ounces of weight. I am like man not another bent rim. So the guys took the tire off and spun just the rim. Well it was bent. I always had good products from Jegs I don't know what the deal is! I had my first order shipped 2 day air to get my stuff on for friday night, well guess I get my stuff together hopefully this weekend. If you order rims watch out

Welcome to the world of mail order. Support your local speed shop/wheel supplier. If you dont have one, that's another story. THIS is the reason I dont mail order ANYTHING.

yeah i always had great service with those guys, but they are paying for the shipping cost and shipping my stuff 2 day air so its not to bad. My other rim comes in wednesday so i have my fingers crossed. If everything is all good with this rim I probably skip racing for firday night and install all my new stuff, I don't know its kinda hard not to go to the strip on firday after all the amount of work we been having, need some stress relief!!!

Those wheels aren't packed for **** from Weld. You think that they would give a light weight wheel alittle protection. Mine Weld boxes came all beat up from Summit. I couldn't believe that they didn't get damaged.

I got my 15x3.5 Prostars yesterday from Summit. Luckily mine wasn't damaged. I've been sweating it since I read this thread the other day.

Looks great. Change your sig picture to this one.

What did you do about your front studs? Did you replace them with longer ones or just grind the calipers down for some extra length? What size is the back and what did you do to fit them grind as well? I have some prostars for the front and with only 5 thread turns makes me nervous and having a 5\16 spacer. The rears 15X10 7.5 BS 5X4.75 bolt?

I'll update my sig pic when I have some new numbers to go with it. I have to find a spot to get a badass pic too.

I bought some longer ARP studs for the front but I ended up using them in the rear. I do run a 5/16" spacer in the front and I really do need to put some ARPs in the front when I get around to it. The rears are a 15x10 7.5 with the 5x4.75 circle. Here's a link to a pic of how much I had to grind, this is with no spacers in the rear.

Thanks for the link and answering my questions.

One more question what is the ARP part number for the longer front studs for our cars.

I bough 2.5" ARPs but they technically won't pass tech with a 5/16" spacer. ARP also make a 3.25" in a 12mmx1.5 stud. Summit or Jeg's might have them. You can also get a 3" GM stud but good luck with that, I walked into a dealer ship and told them I needed a 12mmx1.5x3" stud. They where baffled and couldn't find them.
