Default 295's and Lowered?

Has anyone lowered their car with the 58mm 18x10.5 rims out back, and 295-35-18 tires? I feel like I'm lucky that I've gotten the tires to fit at my stock ride height, and now I want to lower the car, but this seems like I'll start running into some big problems. Has anyone done this and if so what did they do?

I got two links, first one is someone who has a 99 WS6:

This was my ordeal, I have an '01SS, 7 hours of work, could be less, I also used Wes's advice on the 1st thread, and I still HAD to remove the bumpstops...

Should you decide to go with a spacer, rolling the fender lip will probably be mandatory, lest watching your rear tire wall get shredded by it. Also depending on the spacer thickness, you will need longer lug studs, I think I recall getting the more expensive longer studs will be the smarter choice. Longer lug studs allow your lugnuts to get a bite better than 4 turns, which is on the dangerous side.

I also got the GC coilover kit, I got the car pretty much the height that I want, 26" fronts 26-5/8" rears, car rides like a BEAST. I need to be very aware for driveways with a sharp incline, lest I scrape something.

I am lowered about 1.25 in the rear. I added a 6mm spacer and it took a couple whacks on the LR fender inner and that was it. The car has to be lifted from the axle to install the wheel.

I'm running Kumho 295/35/ZR18's on Enkei V1 18x10 (+45mm offset I think) rims with a 2" drop, and had to roll my fender lips with a louisville slugger to keep from cutting the tires. I needed an adjustable panhard rod to re-center the axle after that much drop.

There is a lip on the inner fender that protrudes out toward the sidewall of your tire. You want to roll/bend this lip inward away from your sidewall, so when you go up drive ways and inclines you won't shred the sidewall of your tire. I learned this the hardway. My two month old Nitto drags are sliced up. I got fed up with it and took a hammer to it and now I don't have any more issues.
