17x11 Rubbing Problem
17x11 Rubbing Problem My dad calls me up and tells me that his rims and tires came in. He says that there is a bracket that rubs the tires. I have had 315/35/17's on my car and do not remember a bracket hitting. I only had a little rub on inner well. Does anyone know what bracket he is talking about? He says he is going to grind it down, I just want to save him some headache.
I'd say he's probably talking about the braket for the bumpstop. It will rub if you try to put the wheels on the car without jacking it up by the rearend. If it were me I would grind it down. Just so you don't have to worry about it. Especially if the car is not lowered. I've heard of people getting by with it if the car is lowered enough
