Default Avoiding Flat Spots on Tires

Hey guys,

Im going to be leaving my camaro for a month and I'm trying to decide the best way to avoid flat spots on my new tires. ( Theyre 275/40/17 GS D3s if that matters)

Will 30 days of sitting create flat spots?

I was thinking of putting the car on 4 jack stands. But is it bad for the suspension to hang like this for a month?

My other option is to have my roommate drive the car around the parking lot every five days. He would probably only drive it for 2 mins at no more than
10-20mph.

Would that be a high enough speed/long enough drive to get that flat spots out? He would be going over speed bumps too which may help to get out the flat spots?

Thanks for the help!

4 jack stands would do the trick. most likely 30 days won't flat spot, but if you have 4 stands it just makes it that harder to steal, but easier to steal your rims if its outside.

I thought flat spots only happened with slicks?

Flat spots are somewhat a thing of the past, although do occur, but not to the severity . . . the best advice is raise the tire pressure, to around 40 psi. Then make sure to lower the inflation when you get home, drive the car around gently, the "spots" come out pretty damned quick.

Yeah you shouldn't have a problem, mine sits on the cement all winter inside my garage and I never have had a problem.
