Default What are the best drag radials?

I have a phamspeed single turbo setup on my car and i cant get traction in 1st 2nd or 3rd dear at all. I have Dunlop sp sport 8000 315/35/17 tires. I wanna get the stickiest drag radial there is. I dont care about tread life and havein to change tires 2 times a year. I have 0 experience with any tire besides the one that i stated as i have always pu the same make model tires on. I wont go any smaller on tire size, ie 295, but i will go bigger if that is a option, ie 335. I have all the strong parts like 12 bolt rear LCA's PHR and weld in torque arm. So no worries about breakin it. Thanks for any help guys!!

I would be less concerned about width and focus more on sidewall stiffness and rubber compound because a skinnier softer tire will give more grip than a wide hard one.
Anyway, I'd say the Mickey Thompson ET streets are probably the stickiest but are not made in the stock size. You'd have to go a bit taller. Next up would be the BFG Drag Radial. It's a bit harder but still very soft and is made in stock sizes. The only daily driver of the Drag Radials would be the Nitto 555R.

I run the 315 Nitto R in back and got maybe 5K miles. The BFG may get about half that and the MT I have no idea. Only the Nitto is suitable for wet weather, It's very good in the rain, but the others will slip and slide on you.

Maybe someone more familiar can chime in, but I hope that helps.

First question, will the car ever be driven in any kind of wet weather. If so, you can mark BFG's and MT DR's of the list.

My suggestion. Go for a extra set of rims for the sticky tires (MT DR's)

Ok im lookin now at the BFGoodrich drag radials on Summits site. I see that there is comp TA drag radials and G-Force drag radials but that the comp tas arent available. The tread pattern, or lack there of, on the comp TA's looks alot better for traction. Alot more meat meets the road. Is there still comp TA's or are they discontinued? Thanks for the help guys!
