The BBS LM wheels I have are extremely light. Almost too much so. If it rains, I can barely move the car without the wheels spinning. When it's not raining, it's fun as **** though!

I got them from my cousin for a bargain, but they're $900 for the fronts and $1000 for the rears if you buy them new. Just do a search for BBS LM wheels and you'll find them.

I saw a pair of 8 lbs wheels in a magazine once... carbon fiber.

My front wheels are about 16lbs and the rears are about 18lbs. The tires are what make them heavy.

Default Cheaper route

I bought a set of used OEM Z06 wheels for $600 that are 19 lbs front and 20 lbs rear. They should knock at least 25 lbs off my car from the chromed reproduction ZR1s I'm running now. That may be another option for you if you like the look of the Z06 wheels. Make sure you get the real deal GM ones with Speedline and GM part number stamped on the inside (expect for 2001 forged) or you'll pay a price of 2-3 lbs per wheel.

Fikse are light....and the profil series even lighter. But you got to have deep pockets to go that route for the Profi's. 1K ea and up. I'm still waiting on my Profil's to show up and it's coming on a month after the ship date. Sucks sometimes being overseas.....

The polished ZR1s that I have are 18lbs each, not bad in my opinion... My dads Formula (not the Pontiac, but the racing serieses) rims were light enough to pick up with a pinky...

The C5 magnesium wheels are light as well. You can get them powdercoated a different colour if you don't like the bronze finish.
