Default Nitto 275 DR Question (Section & Tread Width)

Does anyone know the section and tread width on a set of 275 Nitto DRs? I've heard some people say the Nitto DRs run a little on the small size as far as width is concerned. I've got Kumho 712s right now (275s) but the rears just wont hold what I'm throwing at them.

I'd like to put some Nitto 275s on the car for better traction on the street, but there is no way I'm going to be running around with rear tires that aren't as wide as my front ones are. Just wondering if this is a valid concern from what I've heard, or if it'll look fine?

The Kumhos have a section width of 11" and a tread width of 10.4", so if the Nitto cant at least match that I'm not even going to bother with them, and as far as I know, they dont make a 285 or 295 Nitto, so I might be out of luck.

I've searched everywhere and cant find anything. The only spec I could find was on Nitto's website and they had "overall" width listed as 10.91" so I can only imagine thats the section width, not the tread width. Chances are they would be skinnier than my front tires, and I just dont know how I feel about that. I do need the extra traction though, in a bad way, so I might have to go ahead and get them anyway.

On Jegs.com they list it as [Tire Section Width: 10.91"].

Traction, they will give.

I doubt you will be able to see a difference with your eyeball. People run the same basic tire setup all the time and you can't see the difference in width.

Now the factory Firehawk tires, those are skinny.
