will 17x11's with 315x35x17's fit on the rear of a 1995 convertable car.

yep

Got 'em on my 2000 Z28 vert and no problems. Should be the same amount of room underneath.

You may get some rubbing from the inner or outer fender under hard bumps or corners. Rolling the lip will take care of the outer. A BFH will do it for the inner fender clearance problems if any are encountered.

Also depends on the brand of tire and the backspacing/make of wheel.

i plan on using a 56mm offset, but my car is lowered 1".

will prolly need an adjustable pan hard rod but not always neccesary to square the back end back up.might need spacers, cant remember which offset it is that needs the spacers though, been too long since i put he ZR1's on mine and i forgot.
