Thats a normal price. Here in Houston it is 35-55 depending on how much masking they have to do.

Are we talking about strip and powdercoat or just going over the old finish?

Where at!? I emailed allied powdercoating and got a quote $95 ea. + tax & fuel adjustment surcharges (1.98%).

"Yes we can powder coat wheels. We blast all the old paint and rust off, then apply the powder coating and bake the wheels until the coating is cured. With wheels we see several different cases for cleaning and it does affect the price. If it is just old liquid paint or rust we have to remove the cost is as below. Old powder coating or chrome may cost more to remove. Following is our charges for the standard blast and coat."

I didn't think they could powdercoat without sandblasting/stripping the old finish off.

I paid $200 to have a set of Z06's done.

yeah the wheels need to be completely sanblasted for the finish to come out best. you can coat over chrome and over other powdercoat but it all depends on the application

But you also got TTII's done correct? That required more work because they had to leave the lip intact rather than just sandblasting the whole wheel.
