Default BFH Mod - Help

I bought non-oem rims and tires from a buddy. They are the non oem c5 thin spoke designs and 17' in the front and 18" in the rear. I beleive they are 10.5 in the back and 9.5 in the front, both have a 275 tire on them. Back looks liek a nice fit, front looks liek it bulges a bit.

Now, when i drive the car everything seems normal. EXCEPT when i turn hard and I notice scraping in the rear.

How do I fix this. I heard the big hammer mod works but how do i do that? Do i need spacers?

Take off the rear wheels. See the locations where the undercoat has been rubbed off the inner wheel well. Beat (massage) it in with a 5 lb sledge. Re undercoat. Put wheels back on. Drive a bit. If sill rubs. Repeat.

Other choice is spacers and longer wheel studs.

Unless you paln to do a "Dukes of Hazzard" jump, there is no need to cut the bumpstop.

All that happens is that the rear axle "may" need to be supported while mounting the wheels and tires.
