damn I know Michelins are high $; wonder how much a set of those in 17x11's would go for...???

lol I'm sure they technologically very advanced and useful.. but lookswise.. they look.. incomplete! .. and I would psychologically feel insecure riding on those !

michelin doesnt make a 17x11 tire berto!!! lol theyre just a prototype..i was reading aobut them at work..supposedly you will never bend a wheels or get a flat

I'd use em. No under-inflated tires, no worries of nails or **** in the tires in my construction-infested neighborhood. No bent wheels like the one I have from some idiot dumping a 4x4" fence post out of his shitbox on HI121. I think they look cool too. Can't wait.

Its a PAX tire, it's so when you have a blow out it won't run totally flat and cause a roll over or a swerving situation. Hunter had to design a whole new machine to be able to mount and dismount those tires...

yeah they are called twheels or somethin like that, they showed them on tv one day and they drove over a landmine and the tire still worked. i couldnt believe it but if you wont get a blowout im all for it, but they are ugly.

I don't think they would look good on my SS. But I could see some ricers putting them on to be differant.

look close and you will notice something.......the "tires" are not staying "round" but rather they have huge flat spots where they contact the road.......


good for traction, BADDDDDDDDDDDD for high speed/gas mileage/etc........looks like they need to be quite a bit stiffer......

Yes I see that. Looks like they need more R&D. If you look closer you can see the left ones look pretty round. But he is turning left putting the right side under a load.
