Default Tire Size Suggestion??

I have a set of 18x8.5 wheels for my car. I found a really cheap brand new set of 285/30/18's for the rear, and was wondering what tire size would be recommended for the front. I was thinking about a 275/35/18. What do you guys think.

I was concerned about clearance issues up front because of keeping the same width tire, and a bigger overall diameter.

285's ain't gonna fit a 8.5" wheel. 275's are a stretch. A 245/40ZR18 is your best bet.

Ok, after doing some thinking I dont think Im going to chance a 285 on a 8.5" rim. So Im thinking about going with a 245/35/18 up front, and a 275/35/18 in the back. Anyone have any input on this?

you can also do a 265/35/18.. i think a 245/40/18 is way to small for an f-bod
