Default New Tires

Hey guys Im looking at some new tires. I currently have BF Goodrich KD's. I am very happy with the traction and handeling they provided, however I wasn't happy with the treadwear and road noise. I was wondering what some of you guys could recommend for a max performance street tire short of slicks. thanks in advance.

What didn't you like about the treadware? Don't they have a rating of ~300? You should be able to get 30,000 miles out of them. IMO my BFG G-force TA KDW's were some of the best all around street tires. That is, until I got a converter and upgraded to drag radials. Technically the best max performance for acceleration short of slicks would be nitto NT 555R drag radials. Treadware rating is only 100 though, expect to get maybe 10,000 miles out of themn

The KD is a pretty soft tire, you could try the KDW.
