Default Drag rims....

Hey all. Well my 18" privats are pretty pointless for racing. I need to do something for the track and those special nights. I think a true skinny up front wouldnt be too smart sonsidering ill need these for the street also. I was thinking of getting some either 15" or 16" Torque Thrust 2's. If i did 16s i could go 16x10 or whatever for the rear and 16x7 up front. 15's i could go 15x 10 or whatever for rear and 15x6 up front. Anyone ever use these for drag rims? Is this even possible? i went on there site and they do carry these sizes but will they fit on my trans am? Only reason i want these over some prostars is........ i dont want a true 3" or whatever skinny for street and i like the mag look. Maybe get the rears in a deep dish with some M/T radials and soem basic tires up front.
How does this sound?
Is this possible?
Which sizes should i go with?

Thanks

tt2's are heavy rims. just put on some welds or bogarts if you got the money. just dont drive like an *** on the street with them.

look into centerlins rims, they have look alike tt2's and you can get custome backspacing so you know they will fit and they don't charge you any more for it, and they are lightweight.
