Ever scrape wheel on curb?

Ever scrape wheel on curb? The other day I scraped a collector edition wheel on the curb and the edge looked like a cheese grater. So annoyed. I took sand paper and smoothed it so it looks better. Not perfect though. Anyone have this happen and did you do anything to fix it? Thanks.
