Can't decide!!!!! I know it's one of those sticky threads but I still don't know if 285x35x18 will fit on the front of my 99 SS Camaro. I have 275x35x17 right now and it looks like it barely clears. Please help. Thanks

Nope.
285 = width of tire in millimeters
35 = sidewal hieght in percent of tread width
18 = wheel diameter
I am going to guess that you have the OEM 275/40ZR17 tires on the front of your car.
A 285/40ZR17 will mount although not recommended and will more than likely rub a little bit a full lock.
