which one is better
i was wondering the same thing, it appears alot of people run 15x8s with 10.5" tires, so i'm kinda confused about what tire you would run on 15x10s, i figured it would be a tire too big.
Look on our website in our Bogart customer gallery. 99% of the F-body guys use what we setup as a 10 inch wide wheel. 8 inch is too small and restricts you from using a larger tire which DOES fit under the car...we built the wheels to be a direct fitment.
IF we used an 8 inch wheel for a customer whom is restricted to using smaller tires i.e. class etc, we use larger backspace then weld or centerline. Either of weld or centerlines choices largest backspace option is 5.5 which is too small and pulls the wheel ~.75-1.25 inches outward from your wheel-well. This makes the wheel non-centered in the wheel well. From the back, the wheel looks odd
...We build our 8 inch wheels closer to the stock BS (stock 8 inch wheel) which centers the wheel correctly in the wheel-well as it was intended.
