i want to buy a rim to put slicks on. what size rim (i was thinking the 16 in rim that comes on camaros.) would those work or what do most people use? I want to have just the 2 rims for the rear for now till i buy some bogarts. Also what slick works th best size wise for the rim without little to if any at all grindidng? Car is not lowerd. stock ride height for now, but thinking about putting qa1's 12 way adj. shocks on this winter. Maybe lower it a little maybe not. Please help Thanks Troy

salad shooters (93-96 Camaro), 5 stars (97-99 Camaro) and snowflakes (00-02 Camaros) are all the same size, i immagine all Firebird 16 inch wheels are the same also

not to steal the thread but what size slick were you gonna run, and what size can u run on a 16x8?

you could always get them widened professionally, or order some bogarts or cragers if you're feeling like splurging. Seriously a 16x11 would be pretty badass for slicks.

I ran a Nitto DR on my stock 02 wheels worked great. Its the same size as the stock tires.

so you would run the 5 stars 16 in rim and put the 16x11 slicks on there? they would fit on the rim and on the car ok?

I used the stock 02 16 inch wheels for awhile, then used centerline wheels, cheap and alot lighter. Also on ebay there are sellers with 16x8 ZR1 replicas.
