What's the best treatment (if anything) to apply to a set of new tires to help keep their "softness" throughout storage? I don't want them to get "hard" due to environmental affects.
I purchased a set of BFG KD's and currently have them sitting in my basement (boxed). Is there anything I can apply to the sidewalls/tread to keep them at the same "new" softness longterm? I don't plan on using them for ~1-1.5 years, but I got a killer deal on them that I absolutely couldn't turn down...
Any help?
