Default black ZO6 on black ss

I want to get black rims for my car and I'm leaning towards the black ZO6's with rivets. Tomzwheels was running a special on them and I hope its still going on.

From what I understand they will fit my car (02 ss) without any problem. 17x9.5 for all 4. I've researched on this sight for info, but I want to make sure I am on the right track.

I believe I can use the same tire 275/40/17's ?

I am concerned about the offset. I believe it is 54 mm on those rims and a few people seem to suggest they may tuck into the wheelwells too much. Is that true?

Also any pics of black ss with black rims post them, please.

Like I said I've already searched for this info and pics but I'm concerned about the wheels sitting right in the wells, and i want to make sure I'm not missing anything. Thanks.

No on the rivits, just a huge PITA to clean around esepcailly on a black wheel. A 9.5" wheel with a 54 mm offset will sit in the hweel well just about like a stock SS wheel does. Tire size is just right.

i have a 99 t/a. i just got those exact wheels. just came in today. will mount them and take pics this weekend. they are fine as hell!!!! i got the rivets. i think they make the wheel. so what if you have to clean them if the end result is better. running nitto 315's in back. going to try 245 f1's up front...if they dont fit i will sell the f1's on here so if anyone wants dibs.......

How about 18" all around?

Right now our Distributor that makes an 18x9.5 wheel that has the correct offset for the front is out. When he gets back in stock we will see about a promo.

We still have some wheels left at these prices but are beginning to run a little low. Our sales are on a while supplies last basis so give us a call if you need a set.

Thanks

Tom

I just bought a set of 17x9.5 & 18x10.5 black motorsports and I want to run 315/30/18 bfg drags. Has anyone run these, and do the rub at all?
