tire/rim question...

will 245 tires fit on stock 2001 ws6 rims? if so, 245s on the fronts and 275s on the back, good or bad idea to try to stop "bump steer"?

I believe a 245 will fit but it may looked stretched. You are rubbing with 275s up front? I'd go with a 255 over a 245 if thats what you are planning on.

Isn't really going to look all that good. A 245 is really meant for a 8" wheel.

They arent rubbing, the whole car follows the ruts and grooves in the road and it annoys the crap out of me, im trying to tone it down a bit and am wondering if skinnier tires might help.

If you are fighting a wandering problem the Caster in your front end alignment could be off.

Seriously, try different air pressures . . Start at the rcommended 30 psi cold. then try higher and lower, around 1 lb increments, till it rides better.

And possible have the alignment checked.
