Default Installing 15's

In the process of installing convo pros along with my new 9 inch. I went with a moser housing narrowed 2.5" on each side. I bought the convo pro 15X10 with M/T 275/60 drag radials. I damn near went with the 325's but at the last minute went with the 275's & I'm glad I did the 275's are a big tire. I cut out the perches for when you bottom out? I don't remember what their called. I wouldn't have to do this but I put my car on a 2-post lift all the time & they hit when fully extended otherwise it was a nice fit.

Here are some facts: The new 10X15 convos with the M/T 275/60/15's weigh approx. 45lbs. I say approx because the scale I used only rounds to the nearest pound. The stock 01 Z28 wheels with stock 245's weighs approx 42. The stock wheel with 255/50/16 BFG DR's weighed approx 41lbs.
So I only gained a couple of pounds going with the 275's. No pics of wheels installed as of yet because there was a mix up on the lug nuts. Also the balancing weights didn't clear my brake calipers so I got some thinner weights today. It should be together within a week or so. Check out comparison pics:

Also, the MT's have not been mounted on a wheel in the pics.
