any ever bought wheels from o.e. wheels on ebay?
any ever bought wheels from o.e. wheels on ebay? just wanted to see if any one had bought wheels from them before...i might be buying the black zr-1 wheels , but they seem somewhat cheap.

I bought black ZR1s from them. They were fine. Not top of the line quality, I'd still prefer AFS wheels but they are ok, especially for the smoking price. I got a full set for what a single AFS 17x11 wheel would have cost.
One thing to realize is that they are very heavy. Mine balanced fine but the weight is killer. This is a street wheel, so don't be surprised if you lose power on the dyno and time in the 1/4 with the heavier weight.

Did you weight the wheels? Stock SLP 17x9 ZR1's are 20.25 lbs each. I'm wondering how much more these are. I'm looking at a set of Gunmetal ZR1's in 17x9/17x11. I know the 11's will be heavier, just wonder by how much.

how much do they weight?? and did you get the mahcined lip ones?? cause apparently they dont make them. the ones on the link appear to be but i asked and they arent...

I got the chrome lip ones off ebay. Now, I don't remember how much they weighed total, but the 17x11 O.E. wheels were about 6-8lbs heavier than my 17x11 AFS wheels. I have both. Not sure why, whether it was quality of metal or what. Next time I have my wheels dismounted I'll weigh them more accurately, but that won't be for a while.
Honestly, if you're looking for pure performance, I wouldn't buy either, I'd get some CCW's.

Verdad Gallardo Where did you find chrome lip ones? All I've seen are just the very outside edge in machine finish, not chrome. I want 17x11's for the looks more than anything. I should just buy a pair of chrome 17x11's since there's nothing wrong with my factory 17x9 chromes.
i got the 18x10.5 and 17x9.5 z06 deal from oe wheels and mine are very light if i could stack all the wheels i could carry all 4 of them at once fairly easily prolly dont wiegh more than 65-75 pounds all together

here ya go! I've had them for about a year now and the only problems I had were with the crap lugnuts they sent me. Just buy some chrome ones from discount tire for about $30 w/ locking lugnuts.
i got the same black 17x9.5's & 17x11s ZR1's before i got my Black Z06 Motorsports.Had to get a replacement 18x10.5 priced around.Tomzwheels sent an email for 165 + 20 for shipping, got an offer for 155 shipped from another ebay store.Tomzwheels not only price matched, they sent it for 150 shipped insured. They have 100% positive feedback and now i see why.
