Default The Blue And the Grey

1998 Navy Blue Metallic TA with OEM Competition Grey C6 rims. Front tires are 245/40-18 and the rears are 295/35-19. The fronts bolt right up, the rears required a 1.25 inch hubcenrtic wheel adapter. Could use lowering but that may require some additional adjustments to keep them from rubbing. The ride has suffered but that was expected.

What did you do about rear wheel studs with a spacer that thick?

The adapters have new studs on them, look like the ones below I'd assume. not something I'd run on a high HP car, but ok for a driver IMO.

Additionally, mine have a "lip" on the side that bolts to the wheel to help keep it centered. People do race with spacers, you have to consult with the manufacturer and let them know what your intentions are. But in deference to Spanky LS1, under high stress, it's better to have as direct a connection to the hub as possible; not to mention spacers add unsprung weight. It's certainly possible to find wheels that are even wider and bolt right to the car if you're running in competition. You may also want to tub the car or upgrade the axles at some point.

Purdy damned schweet! That car does not need much lowering to look perfect. My brother is getting that color wheel on his yellow C6, should be hot!
