daily driver tire question hey everybody
i need to get a set of new tires for my DD. The stock tires are 185/75/R14
my friend has a set of 225/75/R14 off another car of his. Can I put his tires on my rims even though the tires are a little wider?

Forget it. You're talking about running a tire that's an inch and a half wider than your stock tires. While you may be able to physically mount the tire on the rim, you're gonna have so much sidewall bulge that it's going to make the wheel VERY unsafe in turns. Not to mention it's going to decrease the contact patch of the treads and the tire won't wear evenly.
