What is hyper silver?

I have been looking at different rims online and I noticed some are hyper silver in finish. I was wondering what is the difference between silver and hyper silver, it just looks like silver with tint (or like black chrome) but that is only if the pics I'm seeing are accurate to begin with.

After seeing the hyper silver finish on my wheels and then comparing it to the silver paint you see on most OEM wheels, there really isn't much difference. It's not anything to get excited about at least. Looks like silver paint that they mixed with a little bit of pearl essence.

with mine it is just a slight bit darker than normal silver and i agree about the pearl

Thanks, I was wondering because this is the pic of a Hyper Silver rim yet it looks almost black to me.

BTW nice rims.
