Default which tire for my car????

i need a new set of drag radials for my car i have gotten a set of 315 nittos twice and like them as far as tread life goes... but on the street they dont hook for ****...
i have a different set of rims/slicks for the track... i dont really care about the tred life... i only drive it when its nice out to cruise. i want something that can handle about 520 rwhp, and hook... i wanna know if they made a mickey thompson drag radial in a 315??? i just love the look of the 315s on my car. plus i do live in chicago land area so we have very inclimate weather. dunno what to do???

There are rumors of a MT 315 coming out I believe. You can look up "SDB" on here, he has the 275 MT DR's on an 11 inch rim and it looks about the same as the Nitto 315's.

325 m/t drag radials... i just really want the wide look of the 315 on my car... the tires are going on my stock ws6 rims so.... i really want the traction or do i want the looks? how do the m/t drags compare to the nitto drags on the street? a noticable difference??? i have slicks for the track. and mileage on the tires isnt a huge deal... i only drive the car in the summer on nice days

I understand the point of 315s (they do look awesome!) but they don't fit the stock rim. If they can be shoehorned on there they won't be safe. I don't even think a reputable shop would mount them.

I just realized that you said that you've already done 315s on your stock rims. I think this might be part of the reason you couldn't hook up. You'd probably hook better with the same tire in a 275 or 285.

The 315 on that rim might have a smaller contact patch (depending on tire pressure).

By way of recommendation, I've got no firsthand experience with these, but one of these tires might fit the bill for you:
