I am looking for a good clearcoat. I had a set of WS6 wheels painted gunmetal, with a polished lip. I want to clearcoat the entire face of the wheel, but I keep hearing about clearcoat peeling on polished aluminum. Are there any steps I should take before I clear the lip?

I have searched, and all it did was brought up these questions.

 

BTW I want a clear that will work for BOTH, not two seperate clear coats.

I want to get my rims painted too, but I have the 16 inch chrome T/A rims. How much did it cost for u to get them painted? And please post some pics!! Must look nice!
