I don't have any info on their strength, but I am also kind of looking for a set. Where are you ordering yours from?

If you know the roads that you are traveling on, I believe you will be fine. I drive mine a good bit. I try to be very careful.

the road race (RR) models are suppose to be able to take quite a bit of abuse.

Default Good Wheels

I have the RR 10s on my car. It is not a daily driver but more of a weekend toy. I have had the car up in the triple digit numbers with no problems. I always use common sense when I cross a railroad track or drive on an unfamiliar roads.

They look good and are easy to maintain. Talk to Steve. He is a good guy and will answer all of your questions.

A person has to decide which application better fits their needs. The drag wheels would be best suited if you want to drag race, the RR wheel for road racing.

The RR wheels are VERY strong. I'd put them up against just about any aftermarket street wheel.

I get this question asked quite often regarding our drag wheels. The wheels are very strong also. We've got many folks using them on the street for years without issues. I cannot tell you to use it on the street as it is not a street legal component (not DOT approved). Actually from the top of my head, we've got LESS then 10 guys whom have ever damaged a drag wheel on an F-body. This is from the BEGINNING of when I started producing them for the F_body. I’d say that is a very good track record! We also repair wheels IF you damaged them at minimal costs in so much that if you hit a curb and damaged a wheel shell, you do not have one expensive paperweight.

NO DRAG wheel manufactures front runner is street legal. You are taking chances by using them on the street just as you would be from ours. Some rear manufactures wheels are street legal. The problem is that the fronts are what take the most stress and would be the likely culprit to fail or bend (from all manufactures). Rears are generally a non-issue.

Would I use a drag wheel setup for everyday driving i.e. going to work, school, grocery store etc etc....probably not since drag wheel setups do not have the handling characteristics that a RR setup would have. If you like the twisties on the street, ALL drag wheels would not be a primary choice. Being that I use my F-body for sunday cruises, gatherings and general "pleasure driving", the drag setup works for me still. If I was taking a trip on the car...drag wheels are not the best setup.

...if your looking for ultimate weight savings, best traction then the drag setups would be your best choice.

We design many of the late model car setups, instrumental in the F-body designs, GTO design among others. We fully support ALL products we design and manufacture and warranties go through US. Since we design many applications you’re seeing out there, my engineering background in addition to direct product support insures that each customer’s goals are met fully.

Our pricing is guaranteed as well as our service. ALL orders are given WRITTEN for the customer’s records. This is important as wheels are NOT purchased per part number! We build a wheel in a variety of ways according to what is necessary for the application. If you are purchasing wheels from us or one of our affiliate vendors, rest assured, you are receiving a correctly built wheel per specs given since they are reviewed by me personally!

We just finished up BMR’s new mustang project with a new design wheel…he’s got the first mustang with this style in the world…pictures will follow shortly. I firmly believe from feedback from Lee at BMR, we’ve got a winning combination. BMR has come up with some innovative parts that accompany our product.
