Will it hurt to ClayBar Black ZR1s?

I have some overspray on my rims, will claybaring it hurt anything?

As long as they're a painted finish I don't see what it would hurt, just treat it like the rest of the paint on your car (wash, clay, wash, polish, wax/sealer)
