Default 285/35/18 Tire

I know this has been asked before but the damn search isn't working.

Will a 285/35/18 fit on the front without rubbing? The reason I am asking is because I am thinking about running Nitto 555R drag radials in the rear which I would have to run a 285/35/18 and I want to run the same size diameter tire in the front. If the 285 will rub too bad then if I run the 275/35/18 tire on the front will the .4 inch difference in diameter between the 275/35 and 285/35 be too much to throw the abs/traction control light?

Apparently people fit 315/35/17 tires up front without a problem....so yeah I would say you'll be ok.....

I'm running pilot 295/35/18s up front on chrome 18x10.5 Z06 wheels. No spacer, no mods, just bolt on. No rubbing except a little on the plastic liners during full lock.

I dont see any reason why anyone would run a 315/35/17 on the front. That would look terrible.

Yeah it's only for the extra grip needed to corner these cars since they are so front biased weight distribution wise. Man the 295s track ruts in the road bad, I coudn't imagine 315s. ....with wide front tires you learn to keep a tight grip on the wheel at all times! the tires caught a bad rut a few times and nearly pulled me hard into a curb before I knew what was going on.

I got 315's all around. So 285's will fit with no problem. You would not even know it unless you stared at the tire sizes.

Let's put it this way handling was unbelievable. I was playing around with a ricer and when we hit xxx the guy must of shitted in his pants as I took the turn with not even a hint of push. It was as if I was going only 50 and that was with no rear sway bar!
