Rim/Tire/Options
I've got a 9" rear end that I'm going to have to have narrowed to fit in my 95 Z-28. I figured since I'm paying to cut it down I might as well go narrower than the stock width of the 10 bolt. I've seen some of the photo's on here where people have doon this to change their backspacing and I was wondering exactly how much I can narrow without having to move mounts and everything. Really I just want to be able to have the dished look on my rims. I want to be able to run 325's MT ET Streets or 315's.
I'm going to use 15" rims and I know I'm going to have to grind down on the calipers some to make them fit.
So if anyone can tell me how much more you cut off the rear end and what b.s. you used I'd appreciate it. I want to do this once and get it right.
This is for the car in the sig. I'm working on putting the 454 BBC in now.
