Go with the chrome rims. I have an 01 SS with stock rims they are a pain to clean with all that brake dust. I am looking to get mine chromed. It would look a lot better and its eaiser to clean.

I have had both among other types of wheels.

Chrome is my favorite, polished is my least favorite.

Still debating the chrome or poilished issue myself. In my case, the car is BABYED anyway. It is also garage kept.
Hell... my car is rarely even dirty. And rarely driven in rain(never snow) an only if I get caught out in the rain.

So... just how hard would polished be to live with???

In your case not too bad. My situation is kinda like yours and I don't spend that much time polishing my Boyds since my car is garaged and doesn't see rain/snow. The key is just to make sure that after you wash your car that you dry the wheels really well. Otherwise, you will get waterspots that will have to be polished out.

That's like me saying "Buy chrome if you are intelligent and everyone else should settle for polished because it fits them better."

The only different is that my statement is closer to being correct than yours.

for the love of god, get chrome! I have polished and they SUCK! so hard to keep clean but I guess if this wasn't a daily driver then it wouldn't be such a task.

I've seen both polished and chrome Z06's and the chrome was by far the better looking wheel. I also have chrome Z06's and with just soap and water, little chrome polish they can look amazing.

Chrome all the way. My previous car had polished rims. If you kept them clean and took care of them, they could look somewhat nice. With chrome rims, you just wipe them and they are twice as shiny and reflective as a polished rim that you just spent time cleaning.

I have had both in my time. There is NO WAY, I would EVER get polished again. There is just no comparison IMHO. Good luck with whatever you choose.
