Maybe a dumb question but...
Possibly . . . Things to be careful of are the chemicals they use in their wheel cleaning service, the type of brush, and the heavy roller brush built into some car washes to clean white walls.
Usually the "tire" cleaning brushes can be retracted by the car wash operator.

i use to work at a car wash for 2 years, and dont think i would go back to one and trust them putting chemicals on my car. the rim cleaner would stain chrome and some places would spray the white wall/rim cleaner on cars to geet off heavy dirt and that stuff strips off the clearcoat and paint, and some places gt happy with the power sprayer and go 2 inches from the paint to gt some of the white stuff off that birds love leaving on your car. trut me you will be better off doing it yourself.

Automatic carwash messed up the clear coat on my hood. Now I gotta get it painted again. Thinking I might just get one of those VFN 4inch Ram Air hoods and sell mine. If I gotta pay to get one painted I might as well get the one I want.
