they look fine. it's just at that angle from the rear, you see more of the tire about half way up because the rear valence behind the tire tucks in to the center of the car just a bit...just like TX_TA's ride...
IMO, that green bird has way too big of tires, makes the rim look small, if i were you i'd great really low profile tires 
. i'd personally got a diff route than zr1's, but if you do i'd suggest chrome. there is some sweet pics of nbm birds' on the board i'd search and try to find something ya might like BTW those rims look good from behind, but i'm not much into the gray " plastic " looking rims.
