yes but i dont know why you would want to do so.. tractions not going to be great.. and i believe you can run a 235-285 on a 9"... my buddy has 235s on his 5.0 which has 17x9's and the lip of the rim sticks out a little.. i would shoot for 265s

i ended up buying the 245 due to the price and i have a 40 sidewall i got the skinnier tire to deal with the offset problems that rebels are known for. if it seems unsafe when i get them put on the store said they will let me return them for another tire as long as i don't leave the shop. do you guys think the 275 or 65 will rub on the rebels? i'd rather have a skinnier tire than a shaller side wall(ive had problems with 35 sidewalls)

It depends more on your offset than your sidewall as far as the tire rubbing. There is a sticky at the top of the forum that has a picture of different offsets and where the edge of the wheel will end up relative to the edge of the fender. Very useful.
As for the tire, if you have a 9" wide rim, I would stick with Xsta Z 28's advice and not go narrower than 265's. I believe the stock SS wheels used 275's on a 9" wide rim. Hell, I have 245's on my stock 8" wide wheels so they would definitely not fit right on your 9" wide rim properly.
