what ever you say man all most all tires are made in the same factory. I don't know of anyone that buys a camaro for the ride. it must have been the shop that you took it to. some will do that so you will have to spend more money. i had it happen to me. i went to a differnt shop and didn't have a problem with these tires. they didn't carry the htz's at the first shop i went to but the second shop did. just kinda makes me wonder.

I have also had kumho ecsta's and was not impressed with their performance, so I would personaly never buy or recommend them unless they were cheap and performance was not a concern.

Maybe people don't buy a Camaro for "ride quality" however you can definately feel the difference between good quality tires and **** cheap tires. If you can't either you're dead or kidding yourself.

ok. so can i. but have you had these tires ?????????? I've had 5 sets of tires on my 98 z28 and they are all about the same. unless you go with a bigger side walls or a smaller side wall. bigger side wall better ride. the smaller the worst the ride. I won't buy komkos for the fact that they started to cunk on my friend. i've had goodyears, bfg's, and a 3 sets of off brands. The differnce only was the traction ride quality never changed. Just remember this 90% of the time you just buying the name. all tires are made the same way. just with differnt kind of rubber compounds.

i say get some BFG's...i've had 2 sets now and i love both of them...i have kDWS's on my chrome 10 Spoke SS rims...and kDW2's on my black Z06 rims...i love both...the kDWS's have got me through 2 winters and never have i been stuck! and they are a great price i think. and the kDW2's i just got are a bit pricey but hold the road nice...i can tell a HUGE difference between tires...so i don't know what everyone is bickering about?

ok the Qustion is are you road racing. If so go with the bfgs. if not don't waste you money is all i'm saying. every day driving go with the cheaper tire. my cheap tire that everyone is saying sucks a** have the best strait line traction i've see out of all the tires i've had and the ride is fine. i have about 380 to the wheels and when i dump the clutch they grab almost like my friends nittos. i was surpized. the sumitomo tire over all isn't a bad tire. they are also wider and a softer compound. but what do i know right i've had mine 98 z for only 7 years. And if they cant handle the abuse i put them through i wont by them again. But not all of us on here are made of money so if i can save $30 i'm going to. is all i'm saying. and so far they are the best cheap tire i've had. just don't go with genrals tires.
