Im also wondering , What are you gonna do about the centercaps? Will chrome caps be the best option?

I'm doing this as well. I just finished one of them last night and would have to say that slomofo did a great job. I've also decided not to polish the inside just because it is so hard to get in between there. I might go either with a black or just a silver paint to make the polished face stand out more.

By the way I've looked into the center caps and they are about 20 dollars each at gmpartsdirect.com. Here is the part number if you are interested: 9594408.

I've also looked into getting some polished z06 center caps because they will fit, but I haven't found any. I've seen some c5 centercaps in a polished finish, but will these fit? Anybody know. Good luck with the other two slowmofo.

Also I've been tracking these on ebay for a couple of days and those *******... I mean wheels, look great. I was wondering if any wheel gurus had any tips on how to get my wheels that shiny? Is it all just in the buffing of the wheel? Does anyone suggest a certain polish? I'm finishing mine off with a 1000 grit or possibly a 2000 grit paper.

I did that a year ago. If you strip the wheel instead of sanding it you will have the machined surface just like actual 35th wheels.
You can try ordering the 35th centers for them

I believe that these are stripped and then he's sanding them down to get a polished look. That's what I've been doing as well.

you could just buy some chrome centers like from the chrome 10 spokes or Z06 wheels.

A variable speed buffer, and a aluminum buffing compound that my roomate's company sells to boat manufacturers. I would think any aluminum buffing compound would work though
