Tt2
- wider in rear - just makes the car look meaner and gives you more wheel to add heftier tires in the rear.
- taller rear. We view the cars from the front most often and the rear tires very often look too small due to the perspective. Taller rears look better balanced.
One thing that might help to decide is to look at the tires you want to get and check size availability. If you want 295 KDWs for instance, they are only available in 18" so a 17/18 stagger might be perfect.
I would love to get 18x9-10 front and 18x11 rear, yes tires would be outrageous but I'm not even sure you can order that wide of a size in 18" from AR.
Does anyone know for sure? I see 18x10 on there custom order form, but not any bigger widths available besides on 17s and 15s.
Any info on how u go about ordering the custom size ones? Local wheel place guy didn't seem to know, but it wasn't the owner just some hack at the front desk. I'm going to try back later.
ORRR do you have to just call AR direct, because TomZ acted like they couldn't either in an email reply when I requested a price for 18" TT2s....
I have asked this several times and gotten very few answers to what seems to be a fairly easy question.
